The location of the place where the actions are deployed is decisive for the success of the project.
The choice of the location of the hub is multi-criteria, it is a combination of statistics and local experience.
Identifying the location for the deployment of actions

In order for the project to succeed, it is essential to find the best location for the ASPIRE hub and the partners to help deliver the activities. This location must be ideally situated, i.e. easily accessible to the cohort by public transport or on foot. It is important to take into account the mobility difficulties of the target group (even if the activities are nearby) and their financial situation (do not have a personal vehicle).
It can be interesting to set up in priority neighbourhoods.
Proximity is a key to the success of the project, so it is important to find the right combination between the city centre and rural areas.
Identifying social economy structures and actors
The selection of stakeholders is also crucial. Complementary partners must be selected.
Identifying the gaps that need to be filled will help to


Clients come through different referral pathways / people to discuss with
–      jobs center (Department For Work and Pensions) people who need help goes to find accompaniment
–      self-referrals: website, social media of the company to propose ASPIRE to people, word of mouth
–      NGOs: porchlight in Kent they are working with homeless people…
–      Citizen advice bureau: if you have a problem with benefits, seek legal advice… help to archive something personal
–      Social prescribers: GP are overwhelmed (mental health, obesity, depression) they don’t need drugs to fix it, so they prescribe activities for people to be well è overlapping
–      Link ASPIRE and social prescribers
–      Churches communities
–      Bechange
–      Community engagement / charities
–      Community based organisation
–      Food banks
–    Church communities and other faith based communities : they already have people in need go to them for support
– Health : GP surgeries, health commissioner (ICP : integrated care partnership)

What is missing: what ASPIRE is providing; the outcome, why is needed, why it is different what are we trying to archive, the gap we’re trying to fill
To do this, a meeting must be organised with
Local authorities: local council (communities, social care, ect…)
job centers and employment agencies, temporary work/training agency, second chance school, education centre
Associations present in the potential places that work with the vulnerable public
Social actors:
Food aid organisation: food banks, food pantries
Emmaüs, voulunter sector organisation, charities
Services dedicated to urban planning and/or housing
This meeting between the various partners initially makes it possible to publicise the programme, to set the objectives for the region but above all to pool existing resources. By working in partnership, this allows the cohort to benefit from the best possible support.

It is necessary to solicit :

Associations working in precarious environments, neighbourhood centres, social and cultural centres, youth centres
External service providers specialised in the field in question,
Integration advisors, food professionals….
Health professionals, medical centres, psychological support
Companies: setting up a skills sponsorship or even retired people, experience sharing/sponsorship
For the deployment of actions :
Commitment of partners in two stages:
1st stage: social structures which are in contact with more beneficiaries and in which the implementation of actions is much easier
2nd stage: employment structures where the implementation of a collaborative project is more time consuming
Present the project to local actors according to their degree of expertise/skills related to the project è increase the visibility of the project.
Identification of a relay/resource person
This is a person who has a good knowledge of the territory, who is in contact with the population è someone who has experience in the social field.
This person will be in charge of the project’s implementation, planning and follow-up.
